This is the men’s wool cap from Naples, Italy, made for warmth and comfort while touring Tuscany with the top down. This hat, exclusive to Hammacher Schlemmer, is crafted of Italian wool that has been expertly sewn in a jaunty patchwork, such that no two hats are alike. The flat driving cap pays homage to early motorists who dressed fashionably when heading out on the road. Not only did these low-profile hats resist wind better than homburgs and fedoras when driving with the top down, their crowns didn’t brush against the roof when the top was up.
